I'm wondering if I could get a temporary license

I'm in california, passed NCLEX and waiting for visa screen, it takes at least 6 wks. I'm not sure if I can get a temporary license first. I guess not. I dont have a SSN.:o

then i would think the answer would be no you can not get a temporary license as to qualify for ssn you need tn and to get tn you need vsc as well as letter offering job

right. i called brn, no temporary license for me. vsc+offer---ssn---license.
