I'm being given an external...help!

I have been an LPN for 8 years. I Started as a floor nurse in a busy rural hospital and now work in a clinic. I have trained in many new coworkers, and now I am being given an extern soon, who will be with me for six weeks. I know I have a lot of knowledge to share, but I want to make sure that I am giving the best learning experience to this gal possible. Does anyone know of any helpful books or sites/blogs they have found enlightening in their time training students in clinicals/externships?

Bless you for wanting to provide a positive experience! I teach also and don't have the formal resources you are requesting but would suggest you just be yourself, be genuine and teach the extern things that are going to be valuable to her patients and her practice. I'm not big on useless tasks that aren't going to help someone in the real world of nursing.
