I have been attending Kaylim Career Center doing the ASN program and I am finally an RN!!! I passed the NCLEX!!!! (Thank god. I don't think I can do anymore school.) A lot of you have given me some invaluable advice on my journey. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone especially the few of you I have developed relationships with over the last year. Thanks for all the great advice and encouraging emails. I could not be more excited right now. When I first started out I was really overwhelmed but used the support of you guys. (Turns out I wasn't the only one stressed about tests.)
For anyone starting out, I recommend using this site as a crutch. I also recomend Kaylim Career Center. I really couldn't have done it on my own. (My only "complaint" about Kaylim is sometimes the books take a little longer than they say to get there. So order them AT LEAST a month in advance.)

I agreed with Rnnrewberry I too.am enroled at EC..dont do what I did though..I am driven to distraction and there is a 7 year time limit..Mine ends in 2009.. and now am seeing my dream could vanish. Also..please if you enroll start using the EC discussion boards, you get pointers from other EC students..or students that graduated..and on some boards from staff at EC..The longer you take the more you have to page on yearly enrollment fees. The thing..is to save your notes from each class. I waited till cpne..before I started using discussion boards..If i had started earlier I would have gotten support and encouragment from other students and finished in half the time or better...hope this helps..
That is an incredible accomplishment. I was wondering what the Kaylim Career Center is. I live close to Atlanta and was wondering if this would be something worth checking into.
