I'm failing Anatomy and Math!

I don't know what happened to me this semester. Over the summer I took 17 credits in 8 weeks and I pulled all A's and B's. This semester I'm taking Anatomy and Math 1010. I'm not doing very well, but I won't find out my grade until mid-December. I'm pretty sure I'm going to fail these courses, and I'm feeling super depressed about it. I just didn't put in the hard work, and I fear that this is going to wreck my chances of getting into nursing school :( Can anyone show me the light at the end of the tunnel??

It's not the end of the world! Keep that head up! NO, it will NOT ruin your chances of getting into school. If you do bad, retake those courses. People retake courses 2-4 times, it's actually quite common for students in programs which require a specific GPA. When is the last date to withdraw? Maybe you could do that and retake the classes the next semester/quarter. Yes, it may take you longer to reach your goal of applying to nursing school on a set date/year. But patience is a virtue. I ask you to please put that effort in, I'm sure you're a great person who will be a wonderful nurse. If that is the career meant for you, you will get there. :-)

I would look into your schools retake policy. Some do not allow retake, some will consider the original grade a factor, some will take the new grade no questions asked. At my school it would be best to withdraw from the course.

I'm not trying to discourage you but you need to figure out what went wrong. It sounds like you can do well in school. Nursing school is tough, you need motivation the entire time .
