I found out I got into the Christ Nursing program in Cincy! WHOO HOOO!:biggringi . Anyone else find out they are going this fall?

I honestly an so psyched to go because I have heard such wonderful things from past students and at the orientation. I was afraid to dream about going because I didn't want to get my hopes up too high. Now I've made it and can't get it through my head!

Where is Cincy is the program being held?? I used to attend UC a couple years ago.

The Christ Nursing and Health Sciences program is held in the Christ Nursing building they put right next to Christ Hospital on Auburn Ave. It's a very nice facility!

Hey.. I got into Christ too!.... I applied the day the of the deadline, so I didn't think I would get in so fast. I also was accepted at Beckfield too, and was due to start in April... but I called them and said sorry, but Christ has a better program, and it's closer to home.

I can't wait until August! ;)

Hoosiernurse are you driving from Indiana into Cincinnati every day for the program? Congrats to you for getting into the program! And were you an LPN already or are you starting from scratch?

Yep, I'm going to drive. I figure it's a good time to listen to recorded notes and things like that. My husband also drives the same drive, and is working for the same group of hospitals I'll be working for (due to the tuition forgiveness plan...if I work for three years for a Health Alliance hospital, they will pay for my entire RN program! WHOO HOO!) I was in an LPN program for 6 weeks but became so unhappy with the way the program was structured I began looking for other alternatives. I withdrew and applied to Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences due to many students who told me it was TOTALLY different from what I had experienced in the LPN program, and I also went to a Meet and Greet at the college. I fell in love with it and now, here I am, accepted! WHEEEEEEEE!:balloons:

I didn't transfer anything from the LPN program, I'm just going to start over and work at things the way they teach them in this new program. I hadn't finished any of the LPN core courses anyway, so there was nothing to transfer. I feel SO BLESSED!

Congrats to you!:balloons: Did you go to one of their Meet and Greet programs, or talk to past students? Everyone is really happy with their training at Christ, from what I found!

No.. I didn't go to the meet and greet.. But I will be there this Sat for orientation.. will you? I already work for the Health Alliance.. so that's how I know about their program :balloons:
