Hello, I just submitted my application for endorsement to IDFPR today (submitted live scan last week) and I was wondering how long the typical wait is to have an endorsed license issued . I read some older threads on here that says it takes forever and I was wondering if that is still true. Any info is helpful .. Thanks😀

I recently got endorsed in Illinois from Wisconsin and I believe it took about a month from start to finish. This also included the time for fingerprinting, transcripts, etc. I called to check in on it when it had been nearing the month mark and they had it posted by that afternoon.
Best of luck to you, hopefully it goes quickly.
Thanks , I sent my fingerprints 1 week ahead and attached all other items so i'm hoping for a decent timeframe ..i read some could take about 4 months ,1 month sounds much better.

From the day they received my application packet (4/3) of stuffs to when my name appeared on the IL license lookup (4/21) it was a total for only 3 weeks!
Thanks .. I submitted in Feb. I got it the beginning of April. They were behind in opening the mail from what I was told . I'm just glad its over now and thanks for the feedback.

I'm Canadian and wondering if I had to physically go to Chicago for it
No, i went to my local sherrifs office and was fingerprinted there. I sent my fingerorint cards to one of the fingerprinting agencies in chicago that they have on their aporoved list on the website
