Illinois eligibility for nclex -rn

Published

For international nurses. How long will it take the eligibility for nclex-rn in Illinois?

The Illinois BON in general is slow in processing licenses. I would contact them regarding exact timeline and what to expect.

Specializes in Psych, Peds, Education, Infection Control.

Be persistent with the BON if you need to. I applied by endorsement and it took months, even when I had my stuff together. They're REALLY slow, and aggressive emailing sometimes is the only way. You can try to call, but every time I used the number on their website, it either gave me a busy signal or I was on hold for hours until I gave up. I was half-tempted to drive down to Springfield and just show up in their lobby to get answers! Good luck!

Thanks for the reply guys, atleast now I know why...I am worried that they will not notify me if theres any problem..

first time I sent my application I received (a week later) a letter stating that my US money order wasn't accepted. My husband sent them the money, and 3 days letter I paid Person Vue and received my ATT within 2 hours. So took me about 2 weeks but it could have been faster.

I did it at the end of march so I think they had less applications
