Feb 20, 201016 yr Hello everyone , i got overall 6.5 in ilets , but 6 in speaking. May i eligible for study in canada.?
Feb 20, 201016 yr Looking at the CIC website there is no clear benchmark however you need to prove that you have listen, speak, write and read in English or French, however if you plan on working as a nurse then you may find it not enough
Feb 21, 201016 yr i think, at least a 7.0 score on each sub test.and that will be the safest, either for registration as a nurse, and for the purpose of immigration.
Feb 21, 201016 yr Each province will state what their requirements are but expect each to be very similar. this is what is stated on the BC college of nurses webfiseInternational English Language Testing System (IELTS - Academic Version)http://www.ielts.org/ Tests English skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking - Minimum overall test score = 6.5‐ Minimum speaking test score = 7‐ No score can be lower than 6https://www.crnbc.ca/Registration/Lists/RegistrationResources/501englishtests.pdf
