Hi everyone! I was just wondering if anyone had ever had the same situation I have in regards to the status of my license. I passed the NCLEX for IL last Jan. 12. I then sent in my payment of $50 a week after. Now, im waiting for my license, however when I checked my license status online this is what I saw..New Initial ApplicationEnter/Check Education HistoryPending New Initial ApplicationAdministrative/Board ReviewPending New Initial ApplicationFBI CheckFailed/Rejected 07/11/2017 New Initial ApplicationState CheckFailed/Rejected 07/11/2017This was my second time that I took the exam. The first time was on July 10, 2017. I was just wondering what these things means..and if I have to do anything. Hoping someone can enlighten me!

illinoisbound, BSN 25 Posts Has 5 years experience. Feb 18, 2018 I guess I would call Continental to see if you can get it straightened out. Could be an artifact of their computer system, since it looks like it may have been generated after your first nclex attempt. If you received your official pass letter, you could continue checking the BON website for you license?

And I did received my pass letter 10 days after I took the NCLEX the second time I took it. So it would be Continental that I should contact then..? I contacted IDFPR last week and they said they never received anything from my fingerprint scan, which is weird because how could have I taken my exam?I have been checking everyday the BON website, but still no update on my situation..
illinoisbound, BSN 25 Posts Has 5 years experience. Feb 19, 2018 I think licenses can take a while to post. I would say call IDFPR since they issue the actual licenses? Honestly I called them three times to request fingerprint cards (which never arrived) and each time I felt like I was talking to a very incompetent person. I'd suggest calling and bugging them until you get someone that can help you. If you're in Chicago or Springfield maybe you could go in person? The squeaky nurse gets the license. I'm sorry that I can't really help because I have the experience. I felt bad that no one answered your question. Good luck!

illinoisbound, BSN 25 Posts Has 5 years experience. Jul 14, 2018 Cruz--yes I received my license. I actually called IDFPR and found out they needed my court documents and letter of explanation I sent to CTS. You have to send to both CTS and IDFPR. If you don't know what is on your record or you have a clean record, call and ask why the check came back failed. Hope that helps!

jennscarino 3 Posts Jul 24, 2018 Hi, can I ask if how can I check the status of my license application online? Thank you so much
Cruz1108 8 Posts Jul 24, 2018 I went to the idfpr website for IL. You have to create an account and it will show the status. I just keep calling them to check on updates
