If you could change one thing that you did in nursing school, what would it be? Any advice for someone that is not sure what type of nurse they want to be?

I wish I would have asked the nurses more about their supervisory duties. My school continued to tell us that "charge nurse" was special type of position we didn't need to concern ourselves with. Not true. I was a. Ew grad on pm shift with no supervisor in the building and aides to manage a by myself.

Also, I wish we had more practice charting the way you chart in real life.

I also wish wed had more teaching in receiving verbal orders and interacting with MDs.
