Hello,

I am curious if there are any private clinics or health organizations hiring RNs in Alberta other than AHS and Covenant Health Services. If so could you please state the names of the private clinics/organizations. Thank you!!

Specializes in NICU, PICU, PCVICU and peds oncology.

That's kind of a big favour to be asking for... having somebody else do the searching for you, don't you think?

Specializes in geriatrics.

You could try search engines such as Indeed.com or kijiji. Sometimes private agencies post their ads there.

The point of this blog is to help others. I have done lots of research and know of many private organizations. However I thought I would ask on here to see if there were any organizations I had not learned of that were not readily accessible on the internet. I am specifically asking those who live in Alberta who would know organizations readily. My intent is not to have others do searching for me. We are all resources for one another. And I would be happy to share this information with others if they were looking for organizations in my area and were from another country or region.

If a commentor doesn't have anything helpful to say, there is no need to comment. Thank you

Thank you! I have done this. But appreciate your sharing!!

Try using google maps! As an IEN myself, I did this for BC, searching hospitals, care homes, nursing homes, etc in different names. Places would light red like the whole province is a Christmas tree. I woud get the names from clicking the dots on the map, then google them. I got my first res care job, my first job in Canada this way. I called the companies and went there in person to submit resumes. Many private companies have branches in remote areas. If you find one, it is very easy to find others because they are on the same website. Good luck!
