Hello,
I am an IEN from India, I was a RN there graduated in 2011.
I got my assessment back in 2014 for both RN and RPN. I did my RPN refresher course from Humber and currently working as an RPN.
Now i want to go for my RN as I am more financially stable now and planning on taking on IEN program at George Brown college.
My letter states " you completed your nursing program more than three years ago and you last practiced as an RN on march 31, 2011. In order to meet the evidence of practice requirement , you're required to successfully complete additional nursing education by OCTOBER 31, 2017"
Now problem is if i take admission now in Jan 2017, i wont be able to finish it by October 31, 2017.
what happens in this case if I m enrolled in the program and will probably be finished in 2018.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Unfortunately I don't think it will allow you to become registered. You will likely have to complete the full BScN. Although, if I were you I would still call CNO and ask whether or not they would permit you to take the OSCE. It's worth asking.

@manmeet did you find out the answer to your question? Are you able to return to school and complete the BScN? I don't know if you are aware, but Centennial has a practical nursing for IENs program and the admission academic requirements are "An applicant must have practiced as a nurse or completed his nursing education within the last 10 years as indicated in the letter of direction from the CNO".
