I want to be an RN!!!!

Hello! I am new to this site and need some guidance. :confused:I want to go back to college to be an RN, but am not sure how to get started. My husband and I have a little girl, I am a stay at home mom, we are in debt, and I'm just not sure how to go about getting student loans, what school to go to, and what steps I need to take. Can I still get student loan and start this fall? I was thinking about going back to Ivy Tech. Advice please! Thank you so so much!

Im pretty sure that you can go in and still sign up for fall. You need to go online to complete your fafsa to apply for student loans, however I remember hearing somewhere that there is still a little time left to get started. The best thing to do is to go in on Monday morning and talk to a guidance counselor at the school. Go to which ever campus is closest. They usually are pretty helpful!! Good luck!!!:D

I filled out a fafsa this past spring/late winter, and applied for sallie mae, (different school though) but since then I have gotten married - do I need to go back and put my husband's tax info in? I'm not sure how that all works.

Call/visit the academic advisor at your local college of choice ASAP!
