5 years ago I surrendered my LPN under duress and am now ready to practice again. Has anybody else successfully applied for and got their license back? I need ideas to include in my written application. Thank you for your help in this matter.

I understand what you are going through. I surrendered mine 12 yrs ago and have tried for the past 2 to get them back. First I got the run around with the standard form letter 3 different times. I even called them twice. I am still going through the process. Each time they communicate with me they have another suggestion or another demand to make. My god, you would like I was an ax murderer trying to buy a new ax. Now I am being told things are under review again and that it will probably be March 2006 when the board meets again before I know anything else. This is absolutely rediculous and I know your pain.
Thanks

However, naskippy, I hope things work out for you. After 12 years, a person should be allowed to move on. I do not know your circumstance, but unless it was heinous in nature with the tendency to do the same, I see no reason after 12 years to be permitted to move on and forward. Hang in there.
