I want to become a neonatal nurse, but I'm still in highschool. I really want to stay on the right path and beome what ive always wanted to be but I have know idea how long everything is gonna take. I have done some research and from what Ive found, I have to be a RN and then specialize in neonatal nursing, and you have a have a MSN, soooo how long would all that take?

My advice?Don't have kids.Pay attention to your GPA.Put career/school ahead of everything else. This should land you a good scholarship, a spot in a nursing program, and then you can map it from there.
Luckyyou, BSN, RN 467 Posts Specializes in ICU. Has 12 years experience. Feb 1, 2015 you do not need an MSN to work in a NICU as a staff nurse.
