I want to become a LPN

Published

Hi

I'm new to the board and is in desperately need of some guidance. I've always had an interest in Pediatric Nursing. I would really love to start school in January if all goes well. Here's my hitch, I am new to GA and even with the computer I am having a hard time finding a college to start my courses. I can't tell which would suit my needs best. Can someone PLEEAASSEE point me to the right direction?

Thanks :(

RN is the goal, but I was told to do the LPN first, start working then move on to the RN program. Was that good advice?

Not knowing your goals, I couldn't give you any real advice here. If you are wanting RN later and especially BSN, MSN, NP, etc., then I say go on and go for the RN. Also, do you need to work as soon as possible and continue while in the RN program? Things like that.
