I am on top of the world right now!

Published

I just found out after 6 days of waiting that I have been issued a license, I passed! I don't know how and I really don't care at this point, but I do have a license!

My test cut off at 120, I am pretty sure I missed the last question, and I got the survey about the Pearson testing site and it's employees, no statements about not disclosing info. I have seen several questions posted recently asking if these are all warning signs of failing, and I am happy to report they are not. I don't think anyone will ever be able to figure out how or why NCLEX does what it does. I can tell you that I have known for 6 days that I absolutely failed and have been sick thinking about it, please don't lose hope, anything is possible. We are much smarter than we give ourselves credit for!

Conratulations and WELCOME to the world of nursing...Well done!!!

Thank you everybody for all of the well wishes. This victory is especially sweet for me as well as my family after the last year we have had. I won't go into all of the details as I posted them in "my nclex experience" thread, I will just say, my 9 yr old had open heart surgery with alot of complications, we lost everything in hurricane katrina, and I failed level 4 of the ADN program by 1 point. We picked ourselves up and soldiered on, and here we are, life is really good right now and is only going to get better and better for us. This week alone, we put a contract on a house(we are currently still living in a fema trailer), I got a job offer, and I passed NCLEX. My hubby and my kids were so proud and excited the night that my license # popped on the screen. The human spirit is a magnificent thing! ;)
