I take the NCLEX in 4 days any ideas?

I take my NCLEX PN in 4 days! I am studying but I am still very nervous. I am using Saunders only to study I have only been through about 1/3rd of the book so far but hope to have completed about 75% of it (in terms of content) and I will have answered all the questions in the book and some on the ones from the CD. I have been studying for the past two weeks very hard but I'm scared I'm spending too much time in each chapter and that is why it's taking me so long to get through this book. I feel like I'm teaching myself everything over again. Things I feel good about are lab values, math problems, delegation, and priorities. Things I do not feel prepared for are SATA and pharm questions. Any advice for me?

Also to other test takers just try to relax (anxiety can ruin all your hard work on test day so just remember by staying calm you are already one step ahead plus no matter how nervous you are how is that going to help? You are there, you are going to take the test, you are not going to leave, and no matter what you do you are going to know what you know so no point in anxiety) make sure you drive to the test site in advance so there is no added stress there come test day.

Good luck to everyone! Kaci

p.s. If I go through all the questions in a chapter I usually get 6 out of 10 right if I haven't read the chapter and only like 7 or 8 out of 10 if I have read the chapter and taken notes. Is that awful?

Four days left and you have only done one third of a review book? Are you certain that you will be ready? Maybe you need to consider rescheduling and giving yourself sufficient time to prepare. JMO

I have 8 days left and I was worry because I still have about 25% left to go over, I would really be worried if I was in your shoes. The only thing I can tell you is to maybe take time off of work or school, if you do work and practice the Saunders cd-rom disc in study mode all day for 3 days. Practice the area you have not covered in study mode. That way you will get to practice questions and when you read the rationales you get the content also. Also take a readiness test on all the content if you get 78% and above you maybe ok, if you don't reschedule. I do know someone on here posted that they past the nclex only reading half of the Saunders book. Good luck!
