good morning!!
so how is Charles A. Jones working out for you? I'm planning on attending next year and just wanted know how the classes and teachers are? how and where are you guys doing clinicals? do you like the school?
I moved to a different city last year because of my husbands job so I want to make sure I make the right choice in selecting a school since I'll be leaving hubby for the 10 months it takes to complete the course any and all information on this school that you would be willing to share would help me decide which school I want to attend thanks in advance!!!
I chose Kaplan simply because whenever I visited CAJ, their start dates were "pending", and not scheduled.
It just so happened I received a grant to help cover costs and they required that I attend the next start date available at a local school. Kaplan had a start date in a few weeks from the day I first heard of their LVN program, so I chose them.

I am starting LVN classes at Charles a. Jones April 27th 2015. If anyone is interested in attending this school, let me know and I'll try and give you some insight. The sacworks helped me get a scholarship that pays for my prerequisite and books. It wasn't hard at all. When researching this school I didn't find much about it, so here I am offering my experience with lemon hill skills center (Charles A. Jones) located south Sacramento.
I talked with the instructor and even though I states to buy all book new, she explained to me as long as there are no marks with answers your fine. So amazon is defiantly an alternative route with book.
I download a few e-books on to my phone and started studying two months ago. I was told several times that you will NOT learn anything in this classâ€â€¦ Not surprised, how can you retain all of this important information in under a year. So you're taking the fast track course with the knowledge that you will be self-teaching yourself or you'll be that person that just glides by and doesn't really know anything. With having such an important job such as a LVN I wouldn't take that risk. So it was explained to me that the instructors jump around in the book, skip over chapter and such. Knowing this you should be prepared to learn everything in the book on your own. And not just learn but if you can EXPLAIN IT AND TEACH IT you know it.
