Hi everyone,

My friends and family think I'm crazy for quitting my job during a recession. I had the regular 9-5 job where I stared at the computer all day. I couldn't believe that dealing with redundant paperwork and running boring reports would be required of me for the rest of my life. After 3 1/2 years of doing this, I couldn't take it anymore!! So I quit! I gained 35 pounds in three years because of this job. I saw the drive and compassion in my coworkers and I just couldn't relate. I don't know about anyone else, but I want a job where I feel fulfilled at the end of the day. I figured healthcare would be a good option because you're not staring at a computer all day and you're actually ACTIVE. I figured the CNA training would be beneficial towards my future because I'm interested in the healthcare field. Does anyone else have a story similar to mine?

I just recently quit my job as well. A few dollars less an hour BUT I only did it because I am starting nursing school in June and was going to have to quit regardless. SO I stumbled across this opportunity to take the CNA classes which I just finished. I am waiting to hear from the state as to when I am going to take my state boards.

I can say LTC is not really for me, but I called the hospital as to which I am attending the ADN program and they said rest assured that there would be a position for me as soon as I get my testing date from the state. I am excited about that. LTC is a lot of poop and smells and stuff and I know you will have it in a hospital but it is a whole different level which is more my speed. I am not a fan of the LTC routine.

Again, I would have never done this if I had not already been accepted into my nursing program. I just knew the experience would be great for me and help ease into nursing school clinicals! :-)

Best of luck to you all!1

Hello. Are there people here who knows the success rate after graduating from FIL-AM LVN online class. I checked them for accreditation in California but unfortunately their name is not showing up. What does that mean? I know they have been approved and affiliated in the Philippines but HOW ABOUT LVN CALIFORNIA LICENSING? Please advice.
