I passed!!

I scored very well on the entrance exam (HESI A2) and now I just wait for the nursing department to receive the scores from Elsevier and contact me about officially applying for a spot in the fall 2018 cohort.

Woot!

Nursing school is the reason I went into school health (off in time to attend evening clinicals), so I'm happy the process has been rather smooth. (although stressful).

CONGRATULATIONS!

Actually I did not study. My education through my bachelors degree and the prereqs was enough.

However, there are good recommendations for study resources on the HESI board here on allnurses.

Congrats to you! Curious, what is this exam for? I have never heard of it.

The HESI is a standardized test that is used to prepare student nurses for their boards and to help nursing programs determine the likelihood of the tester passing the NCLEX. Along with my prereqs, my score on the HESI exam determined if I got accepted into the Nursing Program at my college. Then, I had to take it (and pass it) at the end of every semester. It was also the final test I took in my program to receive my Authorization To Test. If I didn't pass the final HESI, my school wouldn't release me to take the NCLEX.

OP, CONGRATS!!! The HESI can be doozie!!!

Hooray!!!!

Woot! Congratulations!!
