I am on cloud 1000 (LOL).. I took the NCLEX Exam yesterday; the Comp shut off at 75 Questions... I had infection control, meds, Priority, and alot of SATA.... I had sooo many SATA they kept creeping up every 2 to three questions... for a minute I thought I was being PUNK... ... It took me 90 minutes to complete. I checked the BON website and their appeared my name with my RN lic number... I can't begin to tell you how I feel....
I am very excited right know.... The tools that I used for preparing for the Exam was the following:
#1.NCLEX 3500 which I downloaded from the Web to my labtop. I did 75, 100, and 150 question sets everyday.
#2. I used the Saunders Book and Cd as a backup review of content esp in the area of Infection control, diseases that I had fogot about or needed to brush up on.
#3. I checked the Kaplan Book for 2008/09 ed. & review test taking stradgies, also completed the pretest in the Kaplan book & the Cd. REVIEW ALL RATIONALES.... even if you got them right....
I grad from Nursing School in Dec 09 and literally stayed focused like my life depend on it; In addition I prayed every day that god would guide me in the right direction... I am sooooooooooo incredibly grateful to allnurses for all the help and guideness during my yrs in Nursing School.:lvan:
I am officially an RN.... Life is Good...
For all of you who are taking the NCLEX soon... Always Stay Focus, and Confident.. You can do it
