I Need Work Advice

Nurses General Nursing

Hi Everyone,

I am new here. I decided to join this forum because I am having a huge problem at work with another nurse. I work 3 days per week and it is fine until the one night a week I have to work with another LPN who is making my job very difficult. She has always been jealous of me because I get along with the residents of the Assisted Living we work in very well and also the employee's that work with me. She is imcopentant in many ways and has always caused trouble for me. She wants me to help her do her job but refuses to help me do mine when it her turn to be the nurse. We take turns and the other one does paper work that night. The last straw came when she told my boss that I was not helping her, that I was taking hour long brakes, and sitting downstairs all night long doing nothing. All of it untrue and my boss said she does not believe it either. But I feel very upset because for the first time in 28 years of being the top employee now I am accused of not doing my work!?! I am not sure what to do but I do know one thing it is unbearable to work with her now. I have to do so tomorrow night. I am thinking of writing my boss a letter (because you can't have a conversation without being interrupted 10 times with her) and laying it on the line and letting her know if she does not rectify this situation I am out of there. This LPN is calling me at home for things that are very minor and waking up my husband who works nightshift. She is ordering me around when we are at work. She has been there longer but in no way is she a supervisor to me. I've had it. I would appreciate any advice that you all can give me. Thanks!
