They are talking about acceptance to TWU in general, not to the Nursing school. You have to be accepted to TWU first before you can apply to the College of Nursing. If you apply online to TWU, it usually only takes a few weeks to get your acceptance. But if you would rather take the NET before you get the actual acceptance, I would contact somebody in the nursing admissions office to see if this is okay. I don't see why it wouldn't be if you are taking the NET in the same year that you are applying to the College of Nursing.
The NET has a science section on it, but the only sections they count when applying to the CON are the Math and Reading sections.
I have a question about the GPA. I already have a major and I wonder if TWU will only calculate my GPA from my pre-requisites (AP,micro,stati,chemi,psy..) or also from the courses that I had taken in my major (history, Gov...)Please any orientation.
I'm fairly certain that they only calculate your GPA from your nursing pre-requisites. However, you might want to look at what exactly all of the pre-requisites are, because in addition to sciences, they also include some basic history, government, English, etc.

Yeah, it's just the nursing pre-req classes, but some of the pre-req classes are 2 semesters of history, government, micro, A&P, etc...not just the science classes!

I have applied to TWU for the Fall 08, right now i'm preparing myself for the NET.
According to TWU website I need to wait for a letter of acceptance and then take a NET. Will they give me a gap period for the NET?
I would like to know if the NET for TWU covers anatomy and phisiology with reading and math or just reading and math.
Thanks
