Okay, here's my dilemma. I have my B.A. in Sociology, buy my GPA sucked (2.5). I applied to like 7 different schools ranging from community colleges all the way to 2nd degree programs and everyone turned me down except for Wesley College in Delaware. Now here's where I need help. Wesley is kind of expensive 17K a year and alot of my financial aid was used up for my previous degree and my credit sucks so a student loan is kind of out of the question. I figured I could try to make it work for a semester or two and get my GPA really good and then try and transfer to a program that's cheaper and closer to home (Dover is about 1 1/2 away). But I was also thinking about going the LPN route. I have a pretty good chance of getting into the program near my house and it will be 13 months. I figured that it would be a plus in getting into an RN program, and I will have the benefit of working while in school at someplace that might offer tuition reimbursement.
Well that's my dilemma, I really would appreciate any insights that anyone would have to offer!!
Thanks.
