Hey.. I am a first year nursing student. I have to write an essay that deals with John Carper's four ways of knowing.. could someone please tell me what his four ways of knowing are and a brief description on how to find these four ways of knowing in specific nursing journal entries. Have you tried Googling for the information? Sometimes students get flak when they ask questions that are vague or very general in nature because it looks like they are asking others to do their assignments. I'm not saying that is what you're doing, but you'd probably get a better response if you listed what you had already done on your own.

If you do a web search, you ought to find most of what you're after. Then you can ask very specific questions that should yield helpful input.
