I am in need of your help All Nurses Community!!

Hello all! Well I am a very long time lurker on this site and finally decided to join. I start my three semester nursing program Monday August 19th and I am beyond nervous. I am 23 and have been working on getting into a program since I was 20. I was accepted into a highly competitive PN program at my local Community College and was just so overjoyed! Now I have all the tools I need to begin the semester and I am... Freaking out. I am just beyond terrified asking myself daily what I've gotten into. I am unsure if I need encouragement, words of wisdom from those who have completed a PN program or what but I do like like feeling this anxious at all. On top of my nursing 101 class I also have to complete basic A&P. All I have heard is that it is basically impossible to do them both together! I don't much have a choice on the matter and I am entirely determined not to fail. For the first time since I was 16 I will not be working for the next year simply to focus all of my time and energy on school. I just need to know that doing an A&P and nursing 101 total of 16 credit hours isn't totally impossible! Thank you all for listening to my rant. Any tips, words of encouragement or wisdom would just be so greatly appreciated.

I start the 19th too! I don't have orientation until 8/13 so I have no idea what to expect. Im extremely anxious and scared too. Good luck to you!! We can do this!!!

Congrats on getting into the PN program!!! What a huge accomplishment. I will be going into my 2nd semester. It is perfectly normal to feel nervous, anxious and definitely excited...pretty much everyone at my orientation put up their hand when asked if they were nervous. Just breathe... It sounds like you want this bad enough that you have the determination to make it through. I don't know about your specific program, but I'm sure they wouldn't structure it to include anatomy and nursing 101 if no one passed. You need to believe in yourself and surround yourself with a solid support system to keep you going...this forum sure can help :). Good luck!
