I need advice from nurses :)

I am thinking about going back to school and Im weighing my options.

I work fulltime nights as an RN and im a single mom with a 3 yr old.

I am thinking of getting my MSN in Nursing Informatics.

I am trying to research the best online RN-MSN programs for the most affordable prices.

Im not sure if going back to school is good for me, because in the long run I think I will have a ton of debt and wont be making more money.

So my questions are:

1. Whats the most affordable RN-MSN program, thats good?

2. What do nurses with an MSN in nursing informatics make?

3. Is it worth it?

Thanks for your time :)

I don't know if these schools offer informatics since it's not my field, but I know for a fact that Indiana State University, University of Southern Indiana, and University of South Alabama charge only instate tuition for their online students.

Might be worth looking into them.

Petersons.com is also a good place to do a search for online programs.

Best of luck!
