I am attending Chamberlain College of Nursing at the Miramar campus in Florida. I chose to do Anatomy 1, Math 114, and Critical thinking this session. I do not like math at all, but I'm trying so hard. It's working out for me so far. This past week was crazy with going to job interviews and doing class work, but I've given up my job search and now I am focusing solely on my schoolwork.
As a result of being not so organized, I got a D on my first A&P quiz. I'm waiting for the other grades to post in that class so I can see if the rest of that stuff kind of absorbs that D. I'm not happy with myself about it and I'm actually pretty down about it.
It's going to be a very long three years.

The first week of anything is the hardest. Now you know what to expect. It will be ok. You was adjusting so don't beat yourself up over it. Tell yourself "making that D really sucked but I'm going to forgive myself and learn from it". Not only will it make you feel better but eight weeks is too short to feel about your first week. I hope this helps. You can do it!
Thank you so much @Kthurmond. I needed that. I'm certainly feeling better about this week.
Thats good. Your welcome. I was in a LPN program and due to health issues I failed from not studying enough. I took the final a second time and still failed. I knew the basic information just not well enough to answer NCLEX style questions. I got discouraged and gave up even though I could've re applied. Now after becoming a certified phlebotomist and having a baby I regret my decision. Its bad when your in clinicals and care more about what the nurses are doing lol. Nursing is my passion and if I hadn't beat myself up I would've been done by now. So I understand how you feel.

Hello,
I just finished my first week at Chamberlain Miramar campus aswell. Don't feel so bad, I also did terrible on my first quiz for Critical Logic and Thinking. I love the class but I am not acclimated with the online course and somehow managed to skip the entire lecture portion and failed my first quiz (yikes)!! I got a "B" on my first discussion because I misread the syllabus and only did 2 comments instead of 3 on each post. I am well prepared this week. Its all about trial and error!
