I graduated!!!

Hey, all! Just a quick update to let everyone know that I finally graduated from my LPN program this past weekend!:D I haven't been too active in the community lately ( school and all, lol!) but just wanted to let you all know that this board has been so helpful throughout the past year to me in a myriad of ways!

My school had us enrolled in an turtoring program from ATI Testing that helps to prepare you for the nclex. We had to take a "comprehensive predictor" test that took about 2 hours to deterime how well they felt you would do on the nclex. Well, I was pleased to find out that I scored a 95% chance of success on the first try!! I sure hope that turns out to be true!! I'm going to review for the next 3-4 weeks and hope to sit for my boards some time in the 1st week of July.

I also want to say good luck to all you folks just starting your schooling. It's hard work and you will have NO life for about a year, but you CAN do it and it is SO worth it! :redbeathe

Hooray! Congratulations! I just graduated in January, took the NCLEX in May- and got the letter today that I passed. I too used the ATI test prep and it was really a great online class.

Stay focused, you're almost done! :-)

Hey! Congrats & don't be nervous!! The classes at Trociare are pretty good, tough but fair. However, this past semester they seemed somewhat unorganized and things were a bit out of synch for a while but it turned out ok. Just take good notes, read the chapters before class, hi-lite the important parts, and use the ATI books that they are going to give you once classes start as well. Those books are GREAT! Try to find a few classmates and start a study group, that works well for some people...just not me, lol. You can DO it! :yeah:

Thanks for the tip :) I was also wondering if you will be selling out your trocaire lpn books or would you know anyone from your class that may be? Thanks !! :clown:
