Good Luck to your friend! Yea the boecs are cheaper compare to nyc. The cheaper ones in nyc have waiting list n they usually accept student like once a year, except for the private school. I pick trocaire because there's vacations breaks in between. And it's more quiet up there so i can just concentrate with my studies and come back to nyc during breaks.

Hey poettree The exam was easy. It has an reading part, math and grammar section. It only test you on the basic stuff. Like in english section to make sure you know what you are reading and the math on like fractions, percentage, adding and subtraction, all those basic stuff from jhs. Don't stress your self over it. They link on trocaire website with practice question and answers with it, you can practice those questions. And You have to score over a certain grade in each section in order to pass. Sorry I don't remember what was the score needed to pass for each section. They proctor told me if we don't pass the each part of the exam with a certain grade, we will have to take remedial course. I can't remember how long it took me, I think almost 3 hours for all three section. And they almost have a part for the computer to make sure you know how to use the internet and emails stuff like that, it only took like a minute to finish the computer section. Are you guy applying for the coming fall too?
