Has anyone know someone or heard of someone getting 265 quesitons and still passing the NCLEX RN??
I wanted to pass on information about 265 questions on the NCLEX. I just took mine on 7/10/12 and had 265 questions, took me 5.5 hours. It was a real roller-coaster ride...easy, hard, middle, lots and lots of prioritization, a bunch of SATA's and med math (at least 8 or 9)....I walked out exhausted, defeated and ready to try again. I tried the Pearson Vue trick the next day and got the good pop-up and today I got the results that I passed. So, the pop-up does work and 265 questions doesn't mean failure. I figure if I could hold up for 5.5 hours and all those questions, I will be able to make it on a 12 hour shift!! Just practice, practice questions...I felt I spent too much time reviewing (we had Hurst review at my school)...the content was extremely helpful but I waited too long to do practice questions. I never scored above 68-72% on Hurst, about the same for NCLEX 4000 and did a lot of the LaCharity (Prioritization, Delegation book)...am so glad I had that book because I think it really helped. Also, the last few days I did NCLEX 4000 and only did the "alternative format" questions. Good luck to everyone out there and if you get to 265 don't be discouraged. I can't even remember the last questions...I was just so happy to get out of there.

I passed which is absolutely not what I expected.
I had less than 5 SATA questions. My exam was not the conventional stuff I read.
Which is why I was shocked hwn my name came up the State BON website.
Also, I got a different statement on the PVT page when I did the PVT trick.
