I am 38, got a misdeamnor2 1 1/2 years ago, only thing on check. I'm a CNA and I'd like to know where near state of NE would hire me?

I'm 38 years old and I accidentally picked up a wallet that didn't belong to me and I dropped it because of PTSD. I had just left an abusive marriage. Here in Nebraska they charged me anyways I just moved up here from Mississippi am 38 years old, and I have never gotten any other charges on my background check. I'm about to be certified in the state of Nebraska for my CNA. Not only will the good Samaritan Society not hire me, but nobody in Nebraska will hire me either and I'm trying to figure out if there's a state around here that would give me the opportunity to be a CNA, which is what I love it's my cuppa tea I enjoy doing it , it's not a day at work. It's just another day of fun for me. At this point my daughter is ashamed of me I need help . Thanks for your time
