I got a job offer!

Hello Allnurses people,

I got a job offer for a new grad program in DOU!

Gotta go through background checks, physicals and all that jazz but I do not expect any complications.

What has really worked for me is to cultivate connections early while I was in school. Even if I knew a hospital was not hiring, I still took every opportunity to learn from the nurses and ask for their insights on becoming a successful RN.

The job market here in California is tough, even for nurses with experience (like me). Thank you for all the wonderful advice and levity everyone that is shared so freely here. Without it, I would have pulled my hair out by now lol!
