I got the job you guys-in L&D!

I am SO on cloud 9----I got the job I applied for in L&D--- there are only 3 LPN's there and the turn over is nill.....I am so thrilled I just wanted to share----there is so much education they offer---yea!!!! Scarlett

does not include shift diff. Help!

Depends on what is usual for your area, but that sounds pretty fair to me!

Well, I officially accepted today......it was great.......the orientation and classes are WONDERFUL........I am SO excited (did I already say that?)

and I want to thank my new friends for being so supportive......

Congrats to you !!!!

It gives me alot of hope because i too live in Central Va and start nursing school in June and L&D is where i want to be. I know that there arent many LPN's in L&D but i am not going to give up. Please come back and update us on how the job is going.

P.S Would you mind telling me what hospital you are working at in Central Va would it be Mary Washington?

:balloons: YEAH!!!! Congrats to you. I will be starting school to be a LVN next year and L & D where I want to be as well. It does give all of us hope that they do hire LVN's in that unit. Best wishes to you. Please let us know how you like your new job!!
