I got In!

Published

After two years of putting my heart and soul into studying, working on pre-reqs. and maintaining a family, the letter came today from LCCC, our local community college. It's was in a large yellow envelope, I knew it was good news. I was turned down last year with a small white envelope containing one page.

I'm in the RN program. I feel like I'm starting a new path in life. I'm flying high right now. :saint: I was told 500 people apply, and 25 get in. Yeeaahhhh!!!!!!

Specializes in PCU Regional Heart Unit.

Thanks everyone. I've been going crazy getting all the paperwork done...criminal/child abuse check, insurance, scrubs, a scope, CPR certification, proof of insurance, and a physical. I was surprised they did not request a drug test?? Shouldn't this also be a requirement? I had no idea all of this was needed before starting clinicals

Wanted to send out a congrats to all the of other students getting in :yeah:

This is such a fun time, I've never had such a feeling of accomplishment.

I've met some of the others who got into the program as well. Looks like it's going to be a great bunch of people!

:anpom:

Congratulations!!! I know the feeling, I received my offer about 3 weeks ago and can hardly believe it! 25 people from 500 applications...Wow, good on you!!!

Grats! I just got my letter today as well :yeah:
