I got an A in microbiology. The class was really hard. I mean there were times I wanted to cry but I kept on pushing my self. The thing about microbiology is that you have to actually understand the information. I even lost my grandmother right before finals week and was afraid of getting a B. But all hard work pays off.

Congrats that is a huge accomplishment!!! Sorry to hear about your grandmother passing. It is hard to focus in school when we have things to deal with in our real lives!
I still will vouch my micro class was harder than any nursing test I ever studied for! When I took micro the first time I did break down and bawl like a baby. I was trying so hard to study for my 5 credit micro class. Theory and lab tests were fill in the blank and short answer essay style and you got no credit if it was spelled wrong. Did I mention I'm horribly dyslexic and a chronically poor speller?
One day in lab close to midterms, I realized I completed my 3 week long genetic code assignment wrong where I had to grow an organism and determine its genetic code. I would have to start all over. Between that, a recent car accident and my family falling apart at home ... I was so stressed I busted down bawling like a baby in the middle of lab. My teacher probably thought I was a drama queen! I decided to end the course and take a failing grade since it was pass the drop date. I retook it 2 semesters later with a different teacher who had the acclaimed "harder class" but didn't grade on spelling and received a 92.9%. Unfortunately in her class a 93% was an A. Always 1% short of an A....story of my life. Lol
