I am interested in R.N. programs in the D.C. area. I have 5 years experience in an Architecture degree, but wish to change. Thanks

Find a school, talk to the counselor...
apply, take entrance exams, apply for financial aid, set your scedule, go to class, graduate, get a job.
Easy enough right :-)

I wouldn't bother with an Associate's degree at this point, especially since you already have a Bachelor's and would be able to complete a 2nd degree program in about the same amount of time. BSN's usually make more money and are able to practice in more settings. Just make sure you do well on your prerequisites, the sciences especially...
If you're really ambitious, you may want to bypass the BSN and get a masters; UVa is offering such a program.

There are other programs like this, you can find them on discovernursing.com
