I am a foreign nurse and need your suggestion plz HELP me

Hello everyone, I am a foreign nurse and have an active WA stateRN license. Currently I am looking for a job in eastside area. I have already applied for job in many hospitals and nursing homes but no one is ready to hire me as I don't have any USA job experience. Now I have two options either I start to do voluntary or I apply for different position like patient care technician or CNA.

I would really appreciate your suggestion also if you have any different recommendation for my situation plz reply me back.

I want to let you know that I have 2 yrs. of critical care nurse experience from my country.

I had the same problem. Try the smaller clinics. The big hospitals won't take you. Also, you may offer to work for free at the places you apply for a little while just so they know what you can do.

Hello and thanks for reply I have done 3yr diploma from pakistan.

Dont limit yourself in the Eastside only. Try applying with hospitals in Tacoma area or in the south side like Franciscan Hospitals. They have great Residency training for new grads before ( not sure if still ongoing). Commute will be difficult but you need to get the training you need. Goodluck!
