I finished my prerequisites for my program. I am finishing up Pathophysiology and Microbioligy. I was denied, because seats have been reduced at my school. I still want to become a nurse, and I finished all of my prerequisites. What should I do?

Well how many schools did you apply to? Apply to ALL of the schools around you, and see what happens.
Ok, most school do only admit in the Fall. But I am still looking around.

apply to other schools and apply next go around for the school you was denied too. It took me 2 years to get into a program. Just stay persistent, you will get in!

So sorry you didn't get in. Did you find out what the average stats for admitted applicants were? Like what are the determining factors for the program: gpa, teas/hesi score, previous healthcare experience, previous degree, etc. Then depending on what they look at i'd improve for the next cycle. Like if they emphasize GPA try retaking any classes you do not have an A in. Also retaking entrance exam if your score wasn't high enough. Get healthcare experience if that helps your application and so on and so forth. I also second applying to every program in your area. Good luck!

So sorry this happened to you! I'm guessing you weren't accepted because they reduced the seats at the school, and your GPA wasn't high enough to be accepted? If that is the case, then retake the classes you didn't do so well in. C's and B's are not competitive for nursing so strive to get those A's. Also, apply to other schools and see what happens.
Best of luck :)
