This is my last quarter and you would think having low scores and failing tests are somewhat of the norm but I feel horrible. It was a 40 question test and I don't know what to do anymore. I'm disappointed in myself and I can't make any excuses. We did have a formal presentation, a research paper, and this midterm all due that day. I'm not going to lie I feel that "typical 6th quarter" feeling of just being burnt out and wanting to just study for the NCLEX. Even looking at the nclex study book has gotten me worried becaise it feels like I don't remember anything. My motivation is not good and I just want to graduate and study for the test. Even the teachers have been slacking a little bit. We're supposed to be having weekly assignments and they post things at random times, cancel labs last minute or reschedule. Any advice with what I should do that with that midterm? (If there's anything I can do? It's worth 25% of the grade) And how can I shake off this lack of motivation?

:hug:you sound completely burnt out.
before we get all existential here...what are you doing for yourself? it's darn near impossible to do for others (or to prepare to do for others) when you aren't able to make time to fill your own tank. running on fumes gets hard.
can you take half an hour-- ten minutes, even-- a day to sit quietly, quiet your thoughts, and just listen to yourself breathe in and out? count sixty slow breaths, in-one-two-three-four, hold-one-two-three-four, out-one-two-three-four, hold-one-two-three-four...no rushing. when i do it, i focus on small objects every breath, one at a time, like a row of buttons, book spines on the shelf, or dried flowers in a basket, just to hold my attention and keep me going in the right direction.
sounds goofy, i know that. but you'd be astonished at how much better your head will feel when you do this two or three times a day. what have you got to lose except your lack of motivation?
