I Applied to the Nurse Residency Program

I did it! I applied to the Nurse residency Program at Children's Hospital Colorado! Now I get to wait. I won't hear if I got an interview until Dec 21st, so if the world doesn't end I will come back and let you know what happened. :D

I asked for the Float Pool and Surgical/Rehab/Neuro if anyone happens to work on in those areas I would love to talk

Are we actually sure they only do calls on the 21st? I'm not giving up hope until they actually notify me one way or the other. Maybe they are just behind.

I was kind of wondering the same thing. I haven't received an email saying I wasn't accepted yet and my application is still active on the website. So there may still be hope. Has anyone gotten a call saying they got an interview?

Hi,

I received a voicemail on Friday from HR which told me to call them back on Monday. When I called back and set up my interview, she told me she had three other candidates to speak with before sending out an email with interview details.

Sunshine521 - did you get an email yet with any interview details? I also received a call last Friday to schedule my interview, but I haven't received an email with any details yet.

First I want to make it perfectly clear that I am very happy for everyone that got an interview and wish you the very best of luck in being offered a job.

Second: Waaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cry::crying2::arghh::bluecry1::( I didn't get an interview and I'm really bummed about it. Sighs back to the drawing board

Hey everyone! I am going to be applying for the August cohort as I graduate in early June (hopefully I can sit for the NCLEX quick enough) I was wondering if any of you got accepted into the program and if so do you have advice for me? My GPA is 3.62, my capstone is in the ICU at Good Sam, I did my community health rotation with special needs pre-k kids and I have grown up around children in my grandmother's daycare. Is there anything else I should do from now until April when I apply? Any advice is very much appreciated!
