All I used to study for NCLEX was Hurst. I did the live review, read the book twice and reviewed the extra material that's online (the pharmacy and stuff) once. I passed my NCLEX with 75 questions on 6/14, about a month after I graduated.
There is no way to study everything that might be on the test, but I feel Hurst did good at covering core content well. I also downloaded an app for my phone called NCLEX Mastery (paid $20 for it) that has a ton of practice questions. I did them when I got bored sitting at home or in break at work. Maybe did 300 practice questions, not including 4 of the 6 Hurst Q-Reviews.
I don't remember howany I got right but I do know I scored 68-74% on the 4 I did. I had 2 friend who were scoring between 55-70% on theirs and passed their NCLEX.
Best advice I can give to is relax the night before, try to stay calm the day of. My friends said a prayer before we went in, not for us to pass but for us to stay calm (I'm not a religious person, but I did stay extremely calm during the exam, more than I thought I would!)
When your test starts, take a deep breath and know that you learned a lot in nursing school and you know your core content. Don't over think the questions. Go with your gut instinct in the answers.
Good luck!! I have my fingers crossed that you'll do well! :)
