I haven't seen any threads so far for the Hunter College ABSN Fall 2022 entry. I am wondering if anyone has heard back or knows when we will hear? Also, there were mixed messages as to how many they accept into the accelerated program and I am wondering if anyone has a solid idea as to how many they accept!

Hey,
I also applied to Hunter. I am a little confused about the whole process of admissions. Do you first need to be accepted to Hunter and then to Nursing?

I believe so yes. I am already taking prerequisites at hunter so I am into the school. But I believe you do have to apply to both hunter and the nursing program.

Hey ,
I also don’t know when we will hear back from them but does anyone have an Idea??
My GPA is 3.84 and my PAX score was 133. I am just praying and hoping that’s good enough to get a spot.
I got accepted into Hunter college itself but I haven’t heard anything from the school of nursing yet. I signed up for their information session on April 13th though, I will ask then and let you all know what they say if, I still don’t hear anything back by then.
Hello all, I just received some information
Around the 1st week of June is when we will get our decision letters
go on hunter site and you can find chats to chat with current nursing students

Good morning and good luck everyone!
I have a 3.86 cumulative GPA with a 146 PAX score. I got accepted into the school last week, but the follow up email told me that we won’t hear back from the nursing program until the end of June. I went to an info session early in March and the nursing advisor who hosted the program also mentioned we will hear back the end of June when we asked.
I compiled a list of GPAs and PAX scores from previous year students that got accepted and it seems like I’m where I need to be.. but no telling til June.

I received a 151 on PAX (although I feel this might not be good compared to others) and have a 4.0 GPA. Based on what anyone knows about Hunter Nursing acceptances, do I have a good chance?

Last year, someone with GPA 4 and PAX 118 got into the program, but someone with GPA 3.8 and PAX 136 did NOT. The entry average was GPA 3.89 and PAX 150
I got accepted! Good luck to everyone else.
My friend and I got accepted too!
