humidity guidelines in incubator

Wondered if anyone had any guidelines they could share about use of internal humidity in incubators and what ranges are suggested when. I'm having a hard time finding recent literature on this subject. Would appreciate any assistance out there :)

I think Ohmeda has some guidelines that are adapted to use of their giraffe incubator. I also know the NANN/AWHONN skin care guidelines address the use of humidity, as well. I am trying to find this info, too. It seems that there are discrepancies about how to do it, when to use it, and how long to use it.

Hi, I'm also trying to source guidelines. Most of the articles I've sourced say to use humidity above 70%. The time variation is between discontinuing at day7 others 3-4 weeks for >28weeks. Skin maturation occurs by 2 weeks postnatal. Drager did study on infection from pseudomonas and found that above 50% no organisms found in incubator. There are no RCT on what %, length of time, infection rates, in relation to humidity in incubators.
