Hey all,
I got accepted into Humber for 2020, just wanted to start this form to meet my fellow classmates. There isn't much information on this program online and hopefully someone who's graduated / currently in the program can help me out on this. What happens after the prep semester? Are you placed into 3rd / 4th year nursing classes or is it another set of courses altogether?
Also, how many students are accepted / spots and how many applicants does Humber usually get?

Hey there,
I got accepted to Humber as well but I'm still waiting to hear back from a few other programs yet. Would love to connect with people that got accepted to the program already though because Humber's my 2nd choice ?

Hello,
I'm entering my final semester in the program, before consolidation semester. After the prep semester, you are still in the same cohort with fellow second entry students (separate classes from the 3rd years). It isn't until fall of the next year that the second entry cohort joins up with 3rd year students for two semesters, before separating again.
If you have any other questions feel free to ask!

Hey there!
Do you have a list or any idea of what classes come after the prep semester? I've tried to look online for a list of all the classes we're supposed to take but can't find any online.

Yep, this is the Winter term after prep:
NURS 1121 Introduction to Nursing and Wellness
NURS 1131 ASP Helping Relationships
NURS 1135 Enhancing Well-Being In Situations of Chronicity
NURS 1136 Clinical Practicum: Wellness and Chronicity
I attached a brochure showing all the courses for each semester.

Hi, I was just wondering what is a good average to get for Humber's second entry nursing program? I know it is a competitive but I am really interested in this program. I would appreciate any feedback!

Hi there, I’m also starting in September of 2020 and was wondering if anyone had started a facebook group for our year? I’d love to join if so! I was also wondering if anyone had access to any of the prep course, course outlines. I’d really like to review over the Summer as I’ve been out of undergrad for a while. Looking forward to meeting everyone ?

Hello Everyone.
Please what are my chances of getting accepted to the Humber Second Entry Nursing Program with a cgpa of 3.37 from Pharmacy?

It’s hard to say for sure. The minimum cut off is 3.00, but it’s a competitive program so it really depends on the GPAs of your competition in that cycle. You have nothing to lose by applying if you meet the minimum requirements ?
Thanks Sarah. I'll give it a try

Do you by chance have any of the course outlines from the prep semester?
