I have faced many calamities within the last 7 months. My wife left me, as a result, I lost my home. I also had a car accident, I was rear ended and lost my car, a good friend of mine committed suicide and most recently, I ruptured my patellar tendon.
Due to these calamities, I petitioned to have a course dropped late as I failed it (Complex nursing, NURS 4121). I honestly feel I would've done better and passed had it not been for these circumstances, however, Humber thought otherwise and rejected my petition. And yes, I obviously provided documentation to them.
I find this pretty unfair. Anyone else have this experience humber college?
