Hello All,
I live in the state of NJ (Middlesexx County) and have not found any of my council members at my school to be of any help. I graduate this year and i'm looking for the path to figure the medical courses I need to make my dream come true. I would like to become a medical spa owner. Amongst providing services where clients can have waxing, facials, lymphatic massage, brow extension and mani/pedi services. I also would like to offer the service of botox and juvederm. So with that, I was asking my counselor what I would need to do and all I got was a ball of confusion. But was able to figure that I needed to become an RN-or do I?
I was hoping that since this is a nursing forum. Some of you kind souls would be able to help me figure some things out. Also I wanted to mention that I will be relocating to the state of GA which is actually the state I would like to have the spa in. I will be relocating there in late 2018 so I would like to know what I would need to do when I get there as well. But while I'm currently in NJ, is there a school where I can do all of this? Or do I have to go to separate schools offering these different specialties. Which school/schools should I take a look at? Is this even possible? Should I do a split where I do some classes in NJ and then some in GA? Ugh my head is spinning already. Hopefully you all can help me. I look forward to any helpful responses.
