The application process hasn't even started yet but I didn't even find out about last year's scholarship until a couple days before the deadline. I did get my application in on time but was not fortunate enough to be a recipient. I intend to apply again for the upcoming scholarship. Any tips from those that were accepted? My EFC is 0, I'm in an undergraduate program, and my GPA is 3.4.
I wasn't aware that they were doing teams this year since that was from previous years, and usually they are supposed to inform us of the team thing somewhere in the application info. We also don't have analysts for our "teams" like they did in previous years either right? If so, does anyone know theirs to contact?
I am about to turn in my paperwork....i was accepted into a 2nd degree program which lasts 5 semesters. On my paperwork the school selected my year in program as 1 and a correct graduation date of May 2014. Do you think that this might hinder my chance in getting the scholarship....Does year 1 look like i am a freshman or do you think they'll figure it out that i am in an accelerated program?!?!

I think sunsetlove is talking about the extra paperwork needed for those who are receiving the awardHi, the application period is over for this year. Did you apply back in April? If so you should here if you were accepted for the scholarship by September 30. Otherwise you can apply during next years open application period.
They should be able to figure out, I figure that's why they also ask for your school's contact info and the info for the person who filled it out on the form. I was panicking last night about the seal thing, it would suck to get this far and have something like that disqualify you. But I'm thinking we are just being really paranoid.I am about to turn in my paperwork....i was accepted into a 2nd degree program which lasts 5 semesters. ccummings8,
Hello! I am from Northern Michigan, near the Mackinaw Bridge. Where do you live? I am attending Duquesne University out of Pittsburgh, PA. It is an online program that only requires 3 on campus trips. This just works out best between work and my family (2 children). I'm in my first year in an FNP program. What school are you going to?

Congrats!! It is nice to see someone else from Michigan get the award too. I was thinking I might be the only one. Where in Michigan are you from? What school?
