HRSA Nurse corp scholarship 2022-2023

Hey everyone, I just got accepted into the nursing program for Spring of 2022 and wanted to know if anybody else in here what's going to apply for the Nurse Corp scholarship when they open back up next year or if anybody has applied how did it go for you!???

Hi everyone quick question: Does the enrollment verification form have to be written specifically for the program or would the acceptance letter work? The application portal and program guidance seem to say two different things

@raynafleur they have a HRSA verification form that faculty has to actually fill out did you download it?

I've been trying to get an academic recommendation letter from my professors and advisors for the past 2 weeks and no response. I'm also trying to get the Verification of acceptance form filled in and signed by the school that accepted me into their program but they keep telling me next week going around in circles. These are the only 2 documents left to complete my application and I am just frustrated.

What did you guys use for your academic recommendation letter, can I use my peer? and does the verification form have to be filled by the school official?

Bey, I feel the frustration. The enrollment verification form has to be completed by a school official.

I have been having a hard time with getting a academic letter of recommendation too.  I graduated in 2020 , my professor said she would complete it but it’s been silence for two weeks. 
 

I called HRSA asking if I can submit two professional recommendations and they told me NO , it has to be one academic and one professional. Then Friday  I received an email for the webinar, in the email it stated we could submit 2 academic or 2 professional if needed. When I called to verify this, they proceeded to read from the guideline stating it has to be one each. 
 I keep getting conflicting information , it’s honestly ridiculous. 
 

Also, does anyone know how to properly put in the start and end dates if we’re going in the Summer too ?

@britt1120 that's so strange, I just read it again and yes it does state 1 academic and 1 professional is "recommended". In past years it stated that they prefer an academic one but it's OK to have 2 professional ones as long as they could attest to everything they asked for. 

But I don't see that in the wording this year. If anyone finds where it says otherwise can u let us know. 

I have 2 professional references ?. Because past guidelines allowed it

@britt1120 yes, it literally states "but you can submit two academic letters or two non-academic letters of recommendation" in this email ??‍♀️

Exactly!! But when I called to verify they told me no .

It may be the people on the phone aren't in the know about the latest, up-to-date information and decisions. Follow what's recommended, but submit what you can.

I called yesterday. They told me HRSA made the decision on 3/29, but I wasn't notified. HRSA says the RN ADN Nursing Program at my school is not ACEN accredited ?‍♀️ they only accept schools with that accreditation ?
